Hey art story “whisperers”! In our last three episodes, we've covered a lot of ground about the Kraken. Thank you for spending your time with us, as together, we’ve delved into the mystery of the Kraken, some history and the biology of the creatures the myth is based on. The Curse of the Hope Diamond

In these episode we take a look at the walnut-sized, sparkling-blue Hope Diamond (that is housed at the Smithsonian Institution) that is said to be cursed. The Hope Diamond is set into a pendant, surrounded by 16 white diamonds (both pear and cushion cut); the necklace chain consists of 45 white diamonds. The deep-blue gem is tied to some mystifying stories that may either be a convenient coincidence. Is it possible that these stories are evidence of something darker and maybe even supernatural?
